2026 Honda Passport: What to Expect from Honda's Adventure-Ready SUV

The 2026 Honda Passport is set to make waves in the midsize SUV market, offering a solid blend of rugged off-road capability, modern tech, and practical everyday usability. Positioned between the compact CR-V and the three-row Pilot, the Passport is Honda’s go-to for drivers who want more adventure without sacrificing comfort.

Honda's design language for 2026 is a continuation of the bold, modern look seen in their recent models, but the Passport is expected to get some unique touches that emphasize its outdoorsy nature. We expect the Passport TrailSport to be outfitted with specially engineered 18-inch wheels, 31-inch all-terrain tires and bright orange heavy-duty front recovery points.

New accessories include strong and durable rock sliders that can handle the weight of the vehicle (augmenting the TrailSport-standard heavy duty steel skid plates), an aluminum front scuff plate to protect the front fascia from damage, and an extensive new line of available cargo accessories with an overlanding focus, such as MOLLE (modular light-weight load-carrying equipment) storage system integrated into the rear cargo area."
